Find people to do something together Deutsch Espanol
Overview
Lonelyway gives you the possibility to find people to do something together. You can enter an ad under Tour Search
Tour Search
and with some luck you will find company. A tour can be almost anything. Some examples are:
  • Trekking in the Andes
  • Sight seeing in New York
  • Online gaming party
  • Visiting the Art in Basel
  • A boating trip on Lake Teanau
  • Going to the final of the world cup championship
  • ...
As you can see there is a good as nothing a tour can not be.
On Lonelyway you can look for somebody on a very short notice. You are for example in Bariloche and you don't want to go on one of the many trekking tours at your own? Just enter an advertisement on Lonelyway a few days before you want to go, and you have the chance to find company. As soon as somebody registers on your tour, you will get an E-mail telling you so.

An other possibility to use Lonelyway is:
You would like to go in low season on the super tour to so and so. Unfortunately there is nobody else. Just enter an advertisement on Lonelyway and you might find the missing people.

In the tour guide you can find private and commercial tours. In case you want to know, what's to do in so and so, just have look in the tour guide.

Besides all this you find on Lonelyway a
  • Hotel Guide
  • Restaurant Guide
  • Travel Guide
  • Online Dating
Searching in all guides follows the same pattern. You start your search by choosing a country and a place. The place is mandatory for searches in the hotel and restaurant guide. In the other guides the place is optional.
A search will always find all places with the same beginning letters as your search place.

The search will deliver a hit list. This list can be sorted by clicking on a column header. Each search will result in maximal 10 hits. Are there more than 10 entries you can page through the list by clicking on next / previous page or you can jump to a certain page by selecting it in the drop down menu below the hit list. The use of sorting and paging should allow you to find a certain entry quickly, even in long lists.

Some entries will have a detail view. You can get to it by clicking on its title. Below the detail view you will have the same paging possibilities as in the hit list.

Links are usually shown in bold letters. If you are moving the mouse over a link, the cursor will change from arrow to hand.

Clicking on "Home" will always get you back to the starting page of Lonelyway.
By clicking on an entry in the yellow part of the menu, you can navigate between the guides.

The menu entries in the red part of the menu are context sensitive. A click on "Your Tours" in the tour guide will show you a list of your personal tours and a click of "Your Contributions" will show you your travel guide contributions.

The menu entries in the footer are always the same. In the red part of the footer you can change the language and from the blue part you can get the Terms of Use, make recommendation of Lonelyway and you can also contact Lonelyway from there or get to the Help.
